  1. Assess students’ learning and emotional needs by observing and consulting with multi-agency teams to advice on the best approaches and provisions to support their learning and development.

  2. Develop and apply effective interventions to promote psychological wellbeing, social, emotional and behavioral development of school children.

  3. Support in the Development of support therapeutic and behavioral management programs.

  4. Provide assessment and intervention work plans to children with difficulties from an early stage.

  5. Supervise the SEN Specialist in their counseling work with school children and adults, particularly parents and careers who are concerned about their children’s learning, behavior or general progress.

  6. Suggest, implement and monitor appropriate interventions and solutions, in consultation with the Education Program, and the teachers.

  7. Advise on alternative examination arrangements for learners with disabilities, including dyslexia, based on Lebanese Ministry of Education regulations.

  8. Supervise the SEN Specialist in their reporting to monitor the SEN children progress.

  9. Make formal recommendations on action to be taken, including formal statements.

  10. Other duties as may be needed.

  11. Work in multidisciplinary teams including the inclusive education focal point, Project Managers, SEN Coordinator, PSS Coordinator, inclusive education specialists, school principals, HEDC, strategic units, to discuss the task objectives and requirements.

  12. Analyse the context and propose interventions;

  13. Allocate time to work at office as well as time to visit schools
