i)

Works within the Education Programme as the team leader of the Monitoring and Evaluation activities; acts as the Education Management Information System (EMIS) focal point of the Education Programme:

(i) Supervises the implementation of the EMIS, in close coordination with LFO, Area and School staff ;

(ii) Tests and develops the existing EMIS technology;

(iii) Supervises the development of new EMIS technology in close coordination with Gaza EMIS team;;

(iv) Supervises and conducts training of Education Programme staff at LFO, area and school level on the EMIS;

ii)

Monitors the Education Programme Annual Operational Plan (AOP):

(i) Monitors and evaluates results and impacts of the implementation of the Education programme including AOP;

(ii) Coordinates the quarterly performance review process;

(iii) Provides staff training and builds capacity on AOP reporting and M&E methodologies;

iii)

Supports the Education Programme in the annual and biennial planning process; drafts annual reports and performance reviews for the Programme;

iv)

Conducts assessment and evaluation of education projects and programmes; drafts evaluation reports, ensures adequate distribution and follows up on the recommendations;

v)

Conducts research on topics of relevance for the Education
Programme; ensures adequate distribution and presentation of the findings;

vi)

Provides a basis for decision making on necessary amendments and improvements and stimulates feedbacks and disseminates lessons learned;

vii)

Ensures that appropriate and proven monitoring and evaluation mechanisms are included into all programmes’ work plans and the information is properly collected, analyzed and shared;

viii)

Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
